Today we will continue our history unit on WW2. Today our guided reading will look at the War in Europe. Please turn this in Friday when you arrive in class. War for Europe and North Africa
Today we will finish our reading of the Great Gatsby. We will have our quiz on chapters 8 & 9. Then we will have a class discussion on the final chapters, the books conclusion, and overall thoughts on the themes of the book.
Take a look at the prompt for your Great Gatsby Essay, which will serve as your final. Here is an outline and some info to help with your organization and writing. The essay will be due on your final day of school 6/13.
Your updated Exhibition Schedule can be found here. Please look at the outline and rubric to make sure you get full credit. Please go in depth in your explanations of all of your subject areas. For example, rather than just talking about reading the Great Gatsby and the plot discuss larger themes of the novel. In all of your classes please try to go in depth about the larger themes of your learning. Make sure you discuss your exhibition date with your mentors. Let them know you will miss your internship that day and invite them to your exhibition. If they do plan on coming please let me or Mrs. Leonard know so that we can get them a parking pass.
If you plan on taking classes at Mesa this summer you need to see Mrs. Hosking by the end of the week to discuss options.
Remember, permission slips for the end of summer BBQ and your $10 donation need to be turned in ASAP.
